Dr. Daniel Kim is a periodontist who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco, and went on to complete advanced specialty training in Periodontics at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. While in residency, he conducted research on the use of dental lasers—including diode, CO₂, and Er,Cr:YSGG—in periodontal surgery, supporting the development of modern, minimally invasive treatments.
Dr. Kim provides personalized care for patients with gum disease and offers a wide range of treatments, from non-surgical therapies to advanced surgical procedures. He has extensive experience in dental implants, soft tissue grafting, and cosmetic periodontal procedures, such as crown lengthening, to improve both health and aesthetics. His philosophy of care is simple: to listen to each patient’s needs and create treatment plans that are gentle, comprehensive, and evidence-based.
Outside the office, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his wife and son, especially on weekends exploring new places together. He also has a passion for music and plays contemporary keyboard, having once performed as a keyboardist in his church band in California.
